Let's give thanks to Arglex for hosting the forum, and to Flak for moving the software due to my LinuxFAIL.

Done. Are there still bugs to work out? One thread I clicked gave me a Beehive install page in the reading pane earlier this evening.

Just happened again:

When I clicked on the Forum Homo thread. Serves me right.

Looks like it's something to do with polls. I'm comparing the db schema from a new install to the one on the forum.

Don't change the RSS thing. It's fixed since the move to here.

What was the rss doing before as opposed to now?

i'm guessing that he's referring to the occasional double post.

but, afaik, that only happens when the rss feed story is edited, and has nothing to do with justhost or the beehive software. we'll see if it ever occurs again.

I was referring to RSS posts not appearing in a quote box. In the case of the Chango RSS feed, the lack of quote box also meant no link to the original blog post, just a link to flickr if any images were included.

Now that quote boxes are back, so it the link to the source posts.

Or it could have been the upgrade during the move to Beehive version 0.9.1 from version 0.8.4.

Cool, new host! Thanks guys.

If my Blog's RSS is a pain and no one wants it just delete it. Although it looks like it's working ok.

I like your blog RSS in here.

When we were on JustHost, the RSS had some issues, but I kept quiet about it because the bigger issue was getting moved to a good host. Now we're at the new host and it's automagically fixed.

and we've automagically gone from beehive 0.8.4 to 0.9.1.

how could justhost have screwed up rss feeds?

okay, i did some research...

here's the last rss feed that looked correct:

here's the first one without a box:

the timestamp predates our move to justhost by about 3 weeks. so the rss feeds were getting screwed up before the move to justhost.

I didn't think JustHost caused the RSS box to disappear. I assumed it was Flak fixing something else that broke the box. It was a minor annoyance, not worth really making a big deal about, so I didn't start a bunch of threads demanding it get fixed or whatnot. Then JustHost's unreliability became the ONLY issue.

It's good the RSS was automagically fixed in the move.

The only reason I even mentioned it now was because I didn't want it to be accidentally broken again while fixing something else.
